Mike's Blog

Well yesterday was "A" chanmps 2007 for swimming.  This year was a year where i was agenst people who were 18+ and i am 16, so naturally i didn't do was well as i usually do.  I came in about 4th in everything.  My 9 year old brother came in 3rd in butterfly 3rd in backstroke and was named league champion in the 50 free.  This meet is a very big meet for us becuase this area where i live is know for having excellent swimming programs.  The most exciting thing about this was my friend Angela not oly wont everything in the 15-18 age group at age 15, but she broke 3 pools records. Last week at Junior Olympics  she proke 2 pools records and beat everyone by over a 1/4 of a pool.  The scouts yesterday were saying she will most likly be invited to the olympic trials this comming year.  Hopefully I will do that well at our nest US meet, but i still have 3 years to make the Pre Olympic team, as Angela has only a few months, (the female cut off is 15 and the male is 19) so i am really writing this to congradulate Angela.
